I work with a range of experiences, including stress, anxiety, PTSD and depression.Welcome. I am an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist offering psychological therapy to adults.
There are many difficulties we can face which make life feel hard to manage. At different times we all experience challenges with managing mood, relationships, or significant life events. Often we draw on our usual ways of coping to get us through, but sometimes it can be helpful to make sense of our experiences (and consider how to manage them) with someone who offers a non-judgmental, compassionate space which is entirely yours.
Perhaps you are dealing with one or some of the following:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Panic
- Bereavement
- The impact of childhood experiences
- The impact of adulthood experiences
- Trauma
- Depression or low mood

About Me
I qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2007 and since then have worked across the NHS, charity, education and independent sectors with children, young people and adults.
I work on the basis that we are all doing the best we can with the resources we’ve got. Our early experiences teach us about who we are, what other people are like, and how the world works.
There is so much in life we don’t choose, like the families we are born into, or how our very tricky minds work (and the lessons we naturally learn from the two – again not our choice). None of this is our fault, but we are faced with the responsibility of how we choose to respond, in the here and now.
I draw on different therapeutic approaches, (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which I tailor to suit your needs. Psychological therapy is collaborative; you bring the expertise of your own experience, and I bring the psychological theory, principles and practice. We work out how these elements fit together to help you understand, explore, and process what’s brought you here.
It is my intention to bring warmth, acceptance, curiosity and empathy to all of my work.
